IPv6 internet settings for tplink wifi modem device

Tplink wifi modem devices need IPv6 settings using configuration page but you have to know why you need to configure these IPv6 configurations for your tplink devices. There are some advances configurations that will allow you to access high speed internet connections and IPv6 settings are one of them.

All these settings are possible using 168.192.0.1 sign in web address. This web address will allow you to access configuration page for any kind of wireless device including router and wifi extender devices.

1.       Connect tplink wifi router device to a computer and then provide power supply to these devices. Check for accessing the Netgear router using the 192.168.1.1 access password.
2.       Open web browser at your computer device and fill 168.192.0.1 sign in IP address in the address bar.
3.       You will get the login page at the front page and this web page need login user name and password for your admin access.

4.       Select “Advanced” option from there.
5.       After that you can select “IPv6” option from there.
6.       Using radio button you can select the “Internet Connection Type” that your device is using.
7.       Before that you will need to enable the “IPv6” using toggle button.
8.       After that fill IPv6 IP address, default gateway IP address, primary DNS and secondary DNS settings for your devices.
9.       Click on “Save” button and your settings will be saved.

These steps are used to access and configure IPv6 settings for your devices. If you want to make other kind of configurations for your device then you can manage these configuration from the same admin page. If you can’t access tplink wifi router login page using http:// 192.168.0.1 IP address then you can check the cable connections between your router and your computer device.
